Unfortunately, it does not appear that the latest version of AEDsys for Windows (3.11 or higher) is available online. You may need to contact the software developer directly for assistance.
All links guide me to the older 1.26 version, how do I get 3.1?

Unfortunately, without specific information, it is difficult to provide a direct answer. However, if all the provided links lead to the older version, it is possible that version 3.1 may not be available for download or might be available from different sources. It is recommended to search for alternative websites or contact the developers of AEDsys for assistance in obtaining version 3.1.
The software is not compatible with Windows running on the 64bit architecture because it hasn't been updated in a very long time. I managed to download a version of the software and when the install procedure it's started, a message appears saying that AEDsys isn't compatible with the 64bit version of this Windows (I am running Windows 10 Home x64).
The only way right now to run the program is a virtual machine. You have to install Windows XP with the help of VirtualBox.
Note: A Windows XP installs disc is also necessary for this.
I set up winXP pro 32 bit on virtual box and installed AEDsys 3.11 but when i tried to run it, it gives me an "printer error" with no explanation whatsoever.
I opened AEDsys and modified the default archive. I saved it with the same name (AEDsys.aed) and exited the program. After that, when I try to open the program it will display Run-time error '9'.
I have tried to save it with a different name, but when I tried to open it inside AEDsys it displayed the same Run-time error '9'.

The runtime error 9 typically occurs when there is an issue with the program's code related to opening or accessing files. In this specific case, it seems that modifying and saving the default archive with the same name caused the error. To resolve this, try renaming the archive to a different name and ensure that it is saved correctly.
No, AEDsys is not an open source program.
